Lactation Educator - Family Birthing Center

Overview : The Lactation Educator (RN) provides clinical nursing expertise in areas of care practice, consultation, interdisciplinary collaboration and specialty program development for a defined patient population.

Qualifications : Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire

State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit required

Certified Lactation Counselor or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Register with the NM Board of Nursing Lactation Care Providers.
