Maintenance Generalist, Journey
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Facilities Services is looking for a Maintenance Generalist, Journey to help us Keep Alaska Moving! The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities Division of Facilities Services looks to be the premier facilities services provider by delivering, improving, and maintaining safe and efficient facilities across Alaska. This position is based out of an office in Nome and will provide general maintenance support for DOT&PF buildings and facilities primarily in Nome but throughout Western District. This position requires occasional field inspections, as well as short duration travel depending on scope of the reason for travel.

This position performs tasks to construct, troubleshoot, repair and maintain State facilities within the guidelines of current State Statutes and codes in the most efficient and economical manner possible. Through maintenance and repair, protect the States building assets, improve structure longevity and provide for safety and comfort of the building occupants and members of the public.
