Operating Room Supervisor – Atlanta, GA

Full-time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday |

A well-established surgical services department in Lithonia is hiring an Operating Room Supervisor to support a growing, high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OR nurse ready to step into leadership—or for a current charge nurse or supervisor seeking a dynamic new environment.

About the OR

  • Case mix includes General Surgery, Urology (strong robotic program with Da Vinci Xi), and expanding Spine, Thoracic, and Colorectal specialties
  • Second robotic system planned this year

The Team

  • Collaborative environment with strong clinical leadership
  • Clinical Manager, Charge RN, Clinical Resource Coordinator, Lead Surgical Techs, and PCT support
  • Team of experienced Circulating RNs
  • Culture is team-oriented, supportive, and welcoming

    • Role Summary

    The Operating Room Supervisor will :

  • Oversee daily OR operations and staff workflow
  • Support coordination of surgical schedules and case throughput
  • Act as a clinical resource for nursing and surgical tech staff
  • Collaborate on department improvements and staff development
  • Foster a safe, efficient, and patient-focused OR environment

    • Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Georgia (required)
  • Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
  • Experience as Charge RN, Preceptor, or Supervisor highly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Passion for mentoring, team development, and clinical excellence
