Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR Must have a teamwork approach and meet behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff Must be able to adhere to Call off policy -STRONGLY ENFORCED Must be willing to work either Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and / or New Years Eve / New Years Day REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : Minimum Years of Experience : 2 Years Experience (NM requesting Neuro experience - If limited, please screen and call out at bottom of summary note). Traveler Experience : Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference : Yes Skills : Telemetry, Vents, IV Start, Drips Certs : ACLS, BCLS, NIH. PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : Skills : Triage, ICP, Conscious Sedation and Charge Nurse Experience. Certs : CCRN, TNCC AND CPI. JOB DETAILS : RATIOS : RATIOS : 1 : 4. Avg. • "Normal population"= Intermediate population that is sub-specialized with neurological population along with medical intermediate patients. SHIFT : 36 and 48s can be offered Unit Will Accept 13 - 26 Weeks! 12 HR DAYS; 06 : 45 - 19 : 15 RTO : 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer Float Requirement :
• FLOATING REQUIRED to other intermediate areas along with critical care. Weekend Requirement : 3 weekends every 6 weeks, a total of 6 weekend shifts between Saturday and Sunday. Must be willing to work either Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and / or New Years Eve / New Years Day PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Intermediate population that is sub specialized with neurological population along with medical intermediate patients. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : This patient population will be geared towards the neurological patients along with the medical intermediate patient population. UNIT SYSTEMS : PYXIS / EPIC / SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE : Self Schedule that is then balanced / approved by staffer Must be willing to work either Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and / or New Years Eve / New Years Day UNIT ORIENTATION : 32 Hours, 8 hour computer class plus two shifts on the unit of orientation. SCRUBS : Any combination of navy blue and white. INTERNAL NOTES Must be willing to work either Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and / or New Years Eve / New Years Day Candidates must be reviewed against the UD, not the track!
