Professional Liability Associate Attorney (5+ Years)

Atlanta, GA | Full-Time | On-Site

National defense firm seeks an experienced litigator to defend licensed professionals in malpractice and negligence claims. Handle complex cases with autonomy, work closely with insurers, and grow in a high-demand practice area . Competitive pay + advancement opportunities.

What You’ll Do

Defend licensed professionals — including attorneys, accountants, architects, engineers, real estate agents, and insurance brokers — in negligence and malpractice claims.

Handle all phases of litigation : investigation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial prep.

Represent professionals in regulatory and disciplinary hearings before boards and professional associations.

Draft and argue motions, prepare pleadings, and develop case strategies with clients and insurers.

Negotiate settlements and participate in arbitration and mediation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with insured clients and insurers.

What We’re Looking For

J.D. from an accredited law school + active Georgia Bar admission.

5+ years of litigation experience , ideally in professional liability, malpractice defense, or insurance defense.

Proven ability to manage complex cases independently.

Strong advocacy, writing, and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly understand technical subject matter.

Skilled at balancing the needs of both insurers and insured clients.
