Responsibilities include :

• Conduct weekly Facility Team meetings to discuss results, expectations, issues, safety, and work assignments.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of building equipment such as HVAC, generators, forklifts, etc.
• Supervise Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs to minimize downtime.
• Create and submit work order tickets via online portal.
• Review contractor bids, schedule, and oversee vendor work, including invoice payments.
• Train and evaluate team members; recommend employment actions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the building, grounds, and equipment.
• Manage waste disposal and EPA compliance programs.
• Ensure proper storage and accounting of parts, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain documentation on critical equipment, building plans, and vendor contacts.

Additional duties include overseeing security systems, fire protection systems, and providing onsite support as needed.

Supervisory responsibilities involve managing the Facilities Department team, providing training, planning, and resolving issues.

Qualifications :

Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and safety practices.

Leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Analytical skills for interpreting information and recommending solutions.

Ability to read and write detailed instructions and correspondence.

Experience and education :

3-5 years related experience or equivalent; 5+ years in maintenance and supervisory roles.

Certifications may be required post-hire to operate machinery legally.

Physical demands include regular sitting, talking, occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and vision abilities.

Work environment involves exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, high places, and noise.

Posted salary range : USD $19.25 - USD $28.75 per hour.
