Commercial Roofing Estimator

As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and preparing accurate and comprehensive estimates for a variety of commercial roofing projects across a variety of systems and manufacturers. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial roofing practices, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, site visits, and overhead costs.

System Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all commercial roofing systems (e.g., built-up, modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC) and manufacturers to provide well-rounded solutions.

Client Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with national clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all estimates align with industry standards and best practices, maintaining high-quality and accuracy in every proposal.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to and promote safety standards and regulations, ensuring that all aspects of the project estimates reflect a commitment to safe work practices.

Market Analysis: Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and advancements in roofing systems to provide competitive and up-to-date estimates.

Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and professional growth opportunities to stay ahead in the industry and contribute innovative solutions to the team.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that all project specifications and requirements are met.

Requirements:

5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimation, with a strong track record of working with clients. Any equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Comprehensive understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance, manufacturers requirements for warranty and industry standards.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to provide precise and competitive estimates.

Proficient with database estimating digitizer computerize estimating software (Estimating Edge "The Edge", software experience is a plus).

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
