As a Sr. Client Manager on the Sponsor Engagement team, you'll play a pivotal role by providing exceptional service and operational oversight to plan sponsors. In this role, you will both partner with Relationship Executives to service large, complex plans while also serving as the primary business owner of a small book of plan sponsors. This includes meeting or exceeding client expectations, focusing on client retention, revenue growth, and client happiness. Sr. Client Managers partner with the client team to provide client reporting, support client events, manage the delivery of communication programs, and other necessary items to ensure plan sponsor needs are being met.

Responsibilities :
Serve as liaison between EFE, the plan sponsor and the plan recordkeeper for operational aspects to support the sponsor and their participants.
Serve as primary client contact for a subset of clients, helping them understand EFEs value proposition and providing updates on new products and services, as well as updates to EFEs business strategy.
Develop and implement renewal strategies for assigned clients.
Represent clients interests with internal partners : Seek and synthesize input from clients regarding business needs. Understand prioritization and importance for clients needs and advocate appropriately within EFE.
Requirements :
3-5 years of institutional client facing experience in Defined Contribution space or similar industry, with a consistent record of working with large institutional client relationships.
Knowledge of retirement plans and issues and challenges of the 401(k) marketplace.
Strong interpersonal, written communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience presenting to and communicating sophisticated concepts to people with various levels of seniority within an organization.
Ability to empower and influence internal colleagues, including crafting and maintaining positive relationships with team members, partners, and senior management.
Some travel required.
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $114,700 - $152,900. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
