Academic Advisor

A company is looking for an Academic Advisor to guide and support students in their academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities :

Communicate effectively with students through various remote channels to provide academic guidance and support

Utilize diverse advising strategies to encourage and motivate students towards successful program completion

Document student interactions and collaborate with other departments to address student needs

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

One year of professional office experience, preferably in academic advising

Bilingual English / Spanish is highly preferred

Understanding of student development theory and effective advising practices

Ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate technology changes effectively
