Responsibilities Mobile PET assignment with frequent travel between facilities Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, AM shift Nuclear medicine procedures performed include PET, theranostic, planar, SPECT, and SPECT / CT Care for ambulatory and hospital patients across various age groups Travel to a secondary facility required one day per week (Wednesdays) Work under the general supervision of a Radiologist Perform quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures according to protocol Maintain and perform quality control on imaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer, RAM, and ACR requirements Safeguard patients and staff by adhering to all radiation safety standards and protocols Educate and communicate with patients and their families regarding tests and radiation safety Collaborate with medical staff, radiologists, and support teams for optimal patient care Follow all infection-control and aseptic techniques as required Submit patient images to PACS for medical review by physicians Any color scrubs are permitted except denim or inappropriate prints Must be able to serve as a trainer for new team members and students as needed Returning former perm employees will require eligibility verification Requirements Minimum of 1 year nuclear medicine experience with ability to work independently Current BLS (AHA only) certification required ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required Active Texas license as required by the profession (license required if applicable) Two professional references required for consideration Flu vaccination required with no exemptions during flu season (August – November) Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; no local travelers accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628847.
