JOB SUMMARY :
Bermuda Village Retirement Community is looking for a caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse for our Facility. As an LPN, you will assist in developing, coordinating, and performing tasks on a service plan according to their preferences and abilities. You will be responsible for monitoring Residents and performing routine checks.

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming (oral care), toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care. Encourage residents to be as independent as capableSupervise a team of CNAs to ensure patient care needs are being metAdminister medication accurately and efficientlyKeep proper records of care as required by the facility. Complete all forms and documentation as requiredImmediately report any observations of concern / changes in the resident's condition to the Nursing Supervisor, Director of Nursing, or On-call providersVital sign monitoring will be performed as needed or directed by regulations, policy, or the primary care provider's orderBe able to apply the community's accident, disaster, fire safety, elopement, and emergency procedures for the protection of the residentsBe capable of performing CPR upon successful completion of CPR certificationBe knowledgeable of the residents' backgrounds, preferences, habits, and interests, and preserve confidential information about each residentUnderstand and follow safety and infection control policies and procedures and readily reportRespond to emergency call signals promptlyReport incidents to the Nursing Supervisor or Director of Nursing promptly and complete appropriate paperwork as required in a professional mannerReadily and directly report any verbal or physical abuse of a resident, inappropriate use of resident or facility property, or lack of or inappropriate care of a resident to the Director of NursingCollect, laundry, and distribute linens, garments, etc. in accordance with and as permitted by State regulationsHelp to properly maintain all equipment and ensure work areas are clean and safeAssist in cleaning resident rooms, dining areas, and public areas as indicated by regulationsCustomer Service :
