About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Machine Learning and AI Engineering to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and owning the entire AI roadmap, with a focus on addressing the critical challenge of increasing chip design costs. This includes the development of an integrated AI agent and code editor workflow to significantly enhance the productivity of silicon engineers. The role demands a world-class ML leader who can architect and deploy novel agent-based systems, lead a growing ML team, and interface with hardware engineers to optimize chip design pipelines using machine learning. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in pure machine learning at top-tier AI labs, with a strong preference for those who have a hands-on technical approach. Deep expertise in ML for chip design, particularly in the RTL and PD domains, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in high-performance engineering teams, experience in ML4EDA, and a strong background in Python, PyTorch, Transformers, and RL libraries. The Head of Machine Learning and AI Engineering will be at the forefront of the company's technical trajectory, staying abreast of state-of-the-art techniques and driving the research strategy in this foundational position.
