A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant to support the underwriting departments' business strategies and activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide pre-quote transaction support, including data validation and documentation verification
Complete post-bind transaction processes, including policy issuance and premium booking
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and support a team environment
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
Strong expertise in surplus lines policy issuance and post-bind operations preferred
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to take initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to meet service level agreements
