Objective

The Company is seeking a sharp, motivated individual with attention to detail and ability to take full ownership of assigned tasks. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the finance department perform a full range of tasks including, but not limited to, banking activities, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, general expenses, month end activities and other accounting related work.

Essential Functions / Job Duties

• Work as a key member of the finance department demonstrating a deep understanding of professional accounting.
• Perform daily and weekly cash accounting and bank reconciliations.
• Create and maintain support schedules for prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and general expenses.
• Manage all aspects of fixed assets, WIP tracking, capitalization vs expense, depreciation, and disposals.
• Record journal entries, review supporting workpapers, reconcile accounts, and prepare month-end closing reports.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget and semi-annual reforecasts.
• Prepare budget to actual analyses on a monthly basis, interpret KPIs, and key trends.
• Participate in month-end closing meetings with Management (President and CFO).
• Work with external auditors for the annual financial statement audit and tax returns. Prepare workpapers for the financial statement audit.
• Maintain annual report calendar and file online submissions on a routine basis.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain information needed to reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Troubleshoot account reconciliation variances and resolve timely.
• Ad hoc report analysis using extensive spreadsheet skills including pivot tables, vlookup formulas, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule :

Full-time position. No travel. Hybrid role.
