HP Service Manager

Micro Focus Service Manager Developer / Analyst

Woodlawn, MD||  GC / US Citizens only

Bachelor"s Degree in Science and 14 years of relevant work experience (or) Master"s Degree with 12 years of

relevant experience

Description of Work :

 Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's

system architecture standards.

  Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems

compatibility and coordinates and / or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer

capacity and capabilities.

 Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective workflow

processes, data handling, and input / output requirements.

 Work with the agency technical and business resources to gather, evaluate and translate requirements into

technical software program specifications using Service Manager supplied procedures and guidelines.

 Develop reports in MS Word outlining the requirements gathered and determine feasibility

 Assist in designing and implementing request management workflows using Micro Focus (HP) Service Manager

Process Design software

 Develop flow charts of the specifications and a detailed design plans that explain the configuration (including any

customization changes necessary) to implement all feasible requirements and how to make those changes in the

Service Manager software

 Design, develop, test, document and implement solutions using Service Manager to meet requirements.

 Be responsible for written and oral communications, as well as oral presentations, in order to communicate

technical topics to management and nontechnical audiences

 Ensure all user-facing interface elements must be compliant with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities

Act.

 Perform administrative functions such as granting requestors access to workflows, setting up proper Request

profiles, associating necessary profiles to various users and configuring user menus so that the requested

workflows are easily accessible in Service Manager

Basic Qualifications :

Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.

  Bachelor"s Degree in Science  and  14 years of relevant work experience ; M aster"s Degree with 12 years of

relevant experienc e; or a minimum  18 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree

  3+ years  of experience or more with  Micro Focus (HP) Service Manager experience  especially in the requirement

management module

  3+ years  of experience or more using  JavaScript

  3 years  of experience or more with  Micro Focus Release Control

  2 years  of experience or more with  Process Designer

 Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green   card holder)

  Must be able to obtain a public trust or higher clearance

Preferred Qualifications :

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

 2 years of experience or more with Universal Configuration Management Database  (UCMDB)

 2 years of experience or more designing and implementing workflows with Service Now
