Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.

Welcome, seat, drape, and comfort patients throughout treatment.

Sterilize and deliver instruments, suction, and pass instruments as required.

Mix and place materials on instruments and in patients’ mouths.

Expose and develop X-rays; pour, trim, and polish study casts.

Fabricate temporary restorations and clean / polish removable appliances.

Assist with dental and medical emergencies; maintain CPR certification and emergency supplies.

Provide oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions.

Accurately document dental care in patient records.

Maintain confidentiality and protect patient information.

Follow infection-control and safety protocols.

Use dental equipment and resources efficiently.

Continue professional development through workshops and professional societies.

Support team objectives and perform related duties as assigned.
