We have an outstanding Contract position for a Program Developer to join a leading Company located in the Portland, OR surrounding area.
This role is responsible for developing a formalized program, including hub infrastructure, operational workflows, service offerings, and scalable processes, to support sustained data center growth and logistics efficiency.
Job Responsibilities :
Develop a comprehensive roadmap and pilot program for Service Centers, including hub setup, customer onboarding, and reuse operations.
Define service offerings, operational models, and scalable inventory management processes.
Forecast requirements for handling increasing product weights (currently 2,000 lbs, potentially up to 10,000 lbs) and design safe, efficient workflows.
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Sustainability, Sales, FP&A) to integrate program objectives and drive consensus.
Deliver formal program documentation, including a 5-year financial model, business plan, operational program outline, and cost structure.
Work closely with marketing and internal support teams to prepare materials for stakeholders and pilot execution.
Reverse logistics and refurbishment program design.
Data

Distribution hub infrastructure and operational architecture.
Forecasting, capacity planning, and cost modeling.
Operational program commercialization.
Financial modeling and business planning.
Safety standards and heavy-load handling (2k-10k lbs racks).
Basic Hiring Criteria :
Strong logistics and operations expertise, ideally from AWS, Amazon, Oracle, Meta, or other hyperscalers.
Knowledge of data center components, racks, and logistics of component movement, including refurbishment and distribution.
Experience building or scaling service hubs or multi-site logistics operations.
History of cross-functional leadership and consensus-building across Ops, Finance, Procurement, and Engineering.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, capable of both strategic program design and practical execution.
P&L ownership and business acumen for building financially sustainable operational models.
Deep understanding of data center logistics and operational workflows.
Experience in hyperscale environments or with hyperscale customers.
Proven record of building programs that scale.
Strong business acumen / P&L experience.
Desired Qualifications :
Prior involvement in service commercialization or reuse programs.
Existing industry contacts in data center operations.
Familiarity with consulting-style problem-solving in logistics.
