Essential Job Functions :

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining product pricing in ERP systems.
  • Monitors supplier cost changes and communicate with appropriate parties.
  • Create and maintain stock part numbers as needed.
  • Research inventory levels, out of stock items and usage for appropriate stocking levels.
  • Assists with management to reduce dead and slow-moving inventory
  • Assists purchasing with updating and maintaining buying controls.
  • Ensure product information is accurate and consistent across systems.
  • Help identify inefficiencies in pricing and inventory workflows, suggesting improvements.
  • Assist in processing purchase orders and confirming supplier deliveries.
  • Assist appropriate associate in prompt processing of vendor returns and material credits.
  • Stays current on details of company products and services.
  • Participates in on-going training programs to enhance product knowledge and job skills.
  • Provides reporting as needed to assist in inventory level decisions.

Other duties as assignment by management.

  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.
  • Three to four years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and / or experience preferred;
  • Must have strong influencing skills and proven ability to overcome objections;
  • Strong business and financial acumen;
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to partner with others to achieve results / resolution;
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents;
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints;
  • Ability to make effective and / or persuasive presentations on complex topics pertaining to the position to top management;
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions;
  • Ability to apply basic business mathematical concepts such as profit and loss, cost ratio, discount percentage, and gross margin;
  • Proficiency in computerized inventory / business systems;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Word, Outlook and Excel;
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form;
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to clients, management, and coworkers;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in all forms;
  • Solid decision making, judgment, problem solving, and time management skills required;
  • Ability to prioritize and process work quickly and accurately, dealing with interruptions and changing priorities;
