Corrections LPN | $43 / Hour Local | $1829 / Week Travel

We are hiring a qualified Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in the corrections setting in Lansing, Kansas! This is a full time position, 13 week contract (at minimum), that has guaranteed hours and pays $43.00 / Hour for local nurses. Travel pay packages available for travel nurses - up to $1829 / week for 36 hour work week!

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.

Minimum Requirements :

Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state

Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
