Job Summary
Inpatient Genetic Counselor with the University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz (Denver, CO) supports the clinical activities of the Inpatient Genetics and Metabolism Service and provides independent genetic counseling in support of genetic and molecular testing requested by other specialties for inpatients at CHCO. The role includes teaching and supervision of trainees, meeting with families of patients that died to provide postmortem testing support, and engaging in teaching (5% of effort) and genetic counseling (95% of time) within the Department of Pediatrics, Genetics, and Metabolism.
