Job Title : Senior IT Network & Infrastructure Solutions Specialist (Onsite)

Location : Raleigh, NC

Job Description :

The primary purpose of the Technology Specialist is to provide expert IT infrastructure technology leadership for the new client Campus project to implement IT infrastructures that will be constructed to replace the Dorothea Dix campus IT networks.

Technology Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Gather and define business, functional and technical requirements definition.
• Perform data modeling, process modeling and prototyping, and create conceptual and detailed architecture / designs (network and security), detailed specifications, IT infrastructure implementation plans, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product integration plans.
• Create technical documentation and training materials.
• Perform product / system research and review.
• Support the development of technical requirements for RFI / RFP / IFBs.
• Evaluate proposals submitted in response to issued RFI / RFP / IFBs.
• Support the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Review technical documents produced by the Developer or other external sources.
• Perform technical architecture and other deliverable reviews for large-scale projects.
• Assist the client Project Manager with technical work breakdown structures and technical cost estimation.
• Assist with issue and risk management.
• Assist in any development and review of project management and technical documentation.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the client Project Manager.
