Job descriptionJob Title : Registered Nurse Facility : Novant Health Pender Memorial Hospital Hospital System : Novant Health Crisis Response Job Description : Responsible for providing nursing care to patients in an acute care setting, including medication administration, patient assessments, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Minimum Years of Experience : 1 Required Skills : MedSurg, Telemetry, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central Line blood draw, peripheral line care, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, CVA, Spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains, nasal cannula, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, wound care / wound vac Certifications : BLS required, ACLS preferred Shift : Nights Staffing Ratios : 1 : 6 for Acute care patients and 1 : 8 for Swing Bed Patients Weekend Requirement : 4 individual weekend shifts in a 4 week period Self Scheduling Unit Details : 1-West is an Acute Care floor as well as a Swing Bed Unit. Unit Orientation : 24 hours Scrubs : any color Interview Availability : Candidates must provide availability for the next 72 hours
