About The Position

Must-Have :

• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Proficiency in telemetry and EKG monitoring
• Ability to manage patients post-MI, heart failure, and with arrhythmias

Description :

The position involves caring for adults to geriatrics in a cardiac telemetry setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients with a variety of cardiac conditions.

Experience with post-myocardial infarction care is required.

The nurse will be responsible for telemetry, EKG, and Doppler operations.

A patient ratio of 1 : 5 is maintained on the unit with an average daily census of 16.

Knowledge of managing peripheral vascular disease and peritoneal dialysis is beneficial.

The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient support.

Ability to float to other units or cardiac telemetry areas may be required.

Nurses are expected to work major holidays as part of the assignment.

Full compliance with mandatory requirements is essential for timely start.

Travelers must be available for a maximum of 7 days off, if needed.

A detailed clinical screening will be performed to assess fit for the position.
