POSITION SUMMARY
The nurse will work to provide the highest quality of care to patients utilizing the Plan of Care provided to ensure patient's needs are met in relation to safety, well-being and satisfaction. Salary is $40-$50 an hour for RNs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete supervisory visits and starts of care admissions.
- Must be willing to travel with in the Treasure Coast area
- Provides safe and effective personal care for the client based on individualized Plan of Care prepared by nurse and available in the clients home.
- Drives / escorts client to and from appointments / activities as requested, resulting in a safe and timely transport
- Provides prompt communication of changes in client medical status / emergencies to Nurse Supervisor resulting in effective management of cases.
- Provides safe and effective nursing and personal care for the client, based on the nursing scope of practice and individualized Plan of Care in conjunction with Nurse Supervisor / Manager of Clinical Practice. May include, but not limited to, medication administration, transferring & positioning client, catheter care, effective communication with the client, family, and Nursing Supervisor.
- Drives / escorts clients to and from appointments / activities as requested, resulting in a safe and timely transport.
- Occasionally completes client assessments and supervisory visits.
- Demonstrate empathy, caring and self-confidence; ability to pay attention to details resulting in thorough follow through; anticipate problems in advance and know whether to diffuse or escalate; prioritize and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Current RN licenseCurrent Level 2 on the AHCA ClearinghouseCurrent TB (within last 12 months) or Chest X Ray (within last 5 years)Home Care ExperienceExcellent communication skills; team player; interpersonal skills; good collaboration skills; customer service skills; ability to use the electronic health record for documentation and communication regarding client care.Qualifications
