Overview
Senior Insurance Account Executive / Broker at Greyling Insurance Brokerage & Risk Consulting, a division of EPIC, is a specialty insurance brokerage and risk consulting firm focused on construction and design professionals. Our leaders bring experience as construction lawyers, engineers, consultants, and underwriters, providing unique insight into how A / E firms operate, deliver projects, and manage risks. Location : HYBRID – 3 days a week in the Alpharetta, GA office.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day client services including responding to client questions, insurance program design and risk-related consulting, and negotiating and implementing clients' insurance programs.
- Communicate with clients and supervise coordination of all facets of the account service plan and routine transactions.
- Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships and utilize Greyling's resources to perform functions.
- Lead new business opportunities and support existing client renewals.
- Prepare and present renewal results to clients; review renewal documents and coordinate pre-renewal work with team members.
- Execute agreed renewal strategy, manage timelines, submit coverage specifications, negotiate with underwriters and partners (US and London), review quotes, and broker all lines of coverage including group captives.
- Ensure compliance and note any exceptions; complete renewal reports and present renewal terms to clients; handle renewal billing and post-binding documentation.
- Review renewal documents with Account Specialist and maintain files per policy; collect and review policies; build strong relationships with underwriters and clients.
- Handle day-to-day client services including policy endorsements, risk reviews of contracts, answering coverage questions, and client training as needed.
- Support merger & acquisition transactions as needed; use Greyling credit and collection policies for invoicing and collections.
- Participate in Greyling training and provide miscellaneous risk-related services as needed.
What you'll bring
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of experience in an Insurance Brokerage with broker / marketing experience; strong negotiation skills with clients and carriers.Experience placing insurance for Architect, Engineering & Construction industries and strong AEC coverage expertise.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with agency management systems (Sagitta a plus).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines; excellent time management and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor; ability to maintain confidentiality and collaborate with teams.Educational requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred; risk management / insurance degree preferred; risk management experience considered in lieu of degree.Broker's P&C license required; industry-specific designations preferred.Technology
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Sagitta or other agency management systems is a plus.Compensation
The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications and education, and will consider internal equity and market data.
