In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in strengthening our accounting processes, supporting strategic initiatives, and partnering with leaders across the company to guide smart decision making.

This position requires an on-site presence and follows a hybrid work schedule based out of one of the following U.S. offices : Holmdel, NJ; Mt. Laurel, NJ; Columbia, MD; McLean, VA; or Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Own GL maintenance, account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Partner with Finance and other departments to ensure financial tell the full story by addressing and resolving accounting-related inquiries.
• Supervise a team of accountants - coach, support, and develop their growth.
• Analyze expense accounts, proactively identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost optimization.
• Identify ways to automate, optimize, and improve financial operations.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal staff during financial statement and overhead audits.
• Support acquisition due diligence, data consolidation and integration activities, as needed.

Qualifications

Compensation : $91,000 to $138,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
