Highlights of Your Role :

Lead the design and development of moderately complex components and products, ensuring they meet all performance and functional requirements.

Set key design parameters, tolerances, and testing methods to validate concepts and align with product standards.

Oversee prototyping efforts utilizing shop tools, 3D printing, and other methods to assess feasibility and refine designs.

Supervise CAD modeling and drawing creation, ensuring adherence to standards and clear design communication.

Manage documentation workflows using Electronic Change Notice software, maintaining technical specifications for collaboration.

Mentor team members on best design practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

You're a Good Fit If You Have :

5+ years of experience in product design and development.

An associate degree or equivalent experience in design is preferred.

Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling software (Inventor preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience working collaboratively with external suppliers to achieve design objectives.

A proven track record in complex product development and improvement initiatives.
