Commercial Superintendent – Hospitality / Restaurant Construction

Deerfield Beach, Florida
$100,000 – $140,000 (DOE) + Full Benefits

Our client, a reputable Florida-based general contractor with a strong focus on restaurant and hospitality builds, is looking for an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee both ground-up and renovation projects throughout the Deerfield Beach region. This role will take charge of all on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to top-quality standards while maintaining budget and schedule expectations.

Key

Direct day-to-day field operations for hospitality and restaurant construction projects from start to finish.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams to keep work progressing smoothly.

Maintain and track project schedules, identifying potential delays and resolving issues proactively.

Uphold all safety requirements, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce company and OSHA safety practices.

Interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure accurate execution on site.

Keep thorough documentation including daily reports, inspections, logs, and progress records.

Work closely with Project Managers on scheduling, material planning, change orders, and quality assurance.

Build strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and local officials to support the project lifecycle.

Lead and mentor field personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and craftsmanship.

Required Experience &

Demonstrated experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably within restaurant or hospitality sectors.

At least 3+ years managing field operations on fast-paced commercial projects.

Solid understanding of construction workflows, trade coordination, and site management.

Ability to thoroughly read and interpret drawings, schedules, and technical documents.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of safety compliance; OSHA 30 a plus.

Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam , or similar field management software.

Commitment to delivering high-quality work while maintaining safety and client satisfaction.
