Join our team as a Loan Servicing Specialist!

Maine Savings is searching for a full time, 40 hour per week, Loan Servicing Specialist for our Hampden location.

What You'll Do :

This employee will work under the supervision of the Loan Servicing Supervisor and performs a variety of functions in connection with commercial, real estate and consumer lending, including all processing and maintenance of loans after they have been closed. The position performs clerical tasks that relate to the loan once it is has posted to the Credit Union core system. The Loan Servicing Specialist routinely performs a variety of operational functions to support the loan including but not limited to quoting and processing payoffs, lien perfection and releasing, and answering daily inquiries from internal and external members as well as vendors and / or dealerships.

Requirements :

• To produce loan documents, reports, and new accounts in a timely fashion, with minimal errors.
• To close, organize and complete member loan files in a timely and accurate manner.
• To provide assistance as required for general opening tasks, loan file maintenance data entry, loan set up for filing and scanning and insurance processing in absence of other loan administrative personnel.
• Maintain loan files according to record retention schedules (physical and electronic files).
• Process and service member insurance claims in a timely manner.
