Taproom General Manager

Bale Breaker Brewing and Yonder Cider have been operating a joint taproom in the heart of Ballard’s brewing district since 2021. With over 30 taps of locally produced beer and cider, a 6,000+ sq ft outdoor area with firepits and covered seating, a dedicated retail area, and daily food trucks, this popular joint taproom offers a unique experience in the vibrant Ballard scene.

JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a hard-working and passionate individual to join the Bale Breaker and Yonder teams as our full-time TAPROOM GENERAL MANAGER . This individual will supervise staff working in the taproom, will manage inventory and orders, and will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day taproom operations. This full-time, salaried position is based out of Seattle, WA at 826 NW 49 th St in Ballard and will report directly to the ownership teams at Bale Breaker and Yonder.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hire, train, manage, and schedule taproom staff, and monitor labor reports
• Manage inventories and orders of beer, cider, merchandise, and general supplies
• Maintain a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment for guests
• Plan and execute onsite taproom events
• Maintain an up-to-date POS system to ensure accurate reporting
• Implement systems to ensure a smooth operation of the taproom
• Lead periodic training for continued development of staff members
• Provide general maintenance and upkeep to taproom infrastructure
• Work closely with ownership, marketing, and finance from Bale Breaker and Yonder
• Collaboratively lead the direction of the taproom
