Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a full-time contract position serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a single school building. This role involves delivering direct and indirect speech-language services as part of the academic year schedule, with an immediate start and year-round engagement.
Location : This position is based in Pontiac, Michigan, supporting a K-12 educational environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize the districts specified IEP system (training provided).
- Participate in team meetings and complete required administrative duties.
- Travel between school sites may be required; travel time is compensated.
- Supervise and support related personnel as applicable.
Qualifications :
Valid and current SLP certification / licensure.Experience working within educational settings, preferably K-12.Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and staff.Ability to manage caseload effectively within district guidelines.Benefits and Work Environment :
