Mortgage Claims Analyst

A company is looking for an Internal Mortgage Claims Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

Audit FHA claims for the GNMA portfolio and reconcile claims filed with FHA, VA, and USDA

Stay updated on investor / insurer guidelines and track claim findings to report to management

Review claims for recoverability, expedite claims processing, and ensure compliance with laws and guidelines

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required

4+ years of experience in default mortgage servicing and / or the legal field

Strong knowledge of mortgage banking and claims processes, including familiarity with RESPA and FDCPA

Experience with LPS-MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) and advanced analytical skills

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently under strict deadlines
