Registered Nurse RN 5000 Bonus

This position is part-time with the opportunity to increase hours and transition to full-time for candidates interested in additional shifts. We are offering a $5,000 bonus.

As a Registered Nurse at  Newton , you’ll deliver compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Our ideal candidate is skilled, dependable and thrives in a collaborative environment, with a strong commitment to enriching the lives of older adults.

Position Type :  Part-Time (with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired)

Shifts Available :   10 : 00pm to 6 : 00am

Bonus : $5,000

Location :   110 N 5th Ave W, Newton, IA 50208

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities :

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administers medications and / or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness / response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
