This opportunity is limited to self-starters with an advanced level of experience in planning, implementing, developing, and maintaining AI / ML applications for a GIS Enterprise and capable of working independently in a fluid custom application development environment. You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC. / ppResponsibilities : / pulliUse advanced software development techniques to perform complex analysis, design and modification of applications and databases for applying AI / ML models in a GIS Enterprise environment. / liliPerform software development, deployment, and maintenance of custom solutions supporting geospatial intelligence by analyzing, writing, building, and deploying imagery, FMV, and geospatial AI / ML solutions in support of SOF objectives. / liliSupport geospatial AI / ML initiatives by identifying, acquiring, transforming, and analyzing and visualizing current GIS datasets, to include crisis planning and contingency response. / liliHave excellent communication skills to include technical writing and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. / liliHave the ability and willingness to continue to expand your knowledge and experience base to be detail oriented and to prioritize and complete assigned tasks within required deadlines. / liliHave exceptional problem solving and decision-making capabilities, including troubleshooting technical issues; successfully resolving project issues and challenges; and understanding user requirements to develop creative AI / ML solutions for process improvements. / liliUse your knowledge and experience you will recommend innovative technologies that enhance the presentation and use of enterprise GIS products and provide integrated systems planning. / li / ulpQualifications : / pulliTop Secret clearance with SCI eligibility / lili8 years of professional experience in information technology with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related quantitative field; OR typically 12 years of progressive experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle for the production of software applications. / liliExperience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and at least one application development language (C#, C++, etc.). / liliStrong oral and written communication skills and be capable of effectively leading projects. / liliFamiliar with SQL (MSSQL, PostGres, MySQL, etc.). / liliFamiliar with developing and using REST APIs / liliObtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification per DOD 8570.01 / li / ululliMasters Degree in Computer Science or similar field / liliAt least 3-5 years of professional experience using cloud computing services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. / liliExperience integrating geospatial datasets. / liliFamiliar with REACT, NodeJS. / liliUnderstanding of DevOps methodology / li / ulpWhat You Can Expect : / ppA culture of integrity.
