The General Manager will oversee all aspects of operations at the Facility, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and profitability. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and business acumen to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, including production, maintenance, and logistics.
- Ensure optimal utilization of machines, tools, and personnel to meet production targets.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and staff across production, quality, engineering, and administration.Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.Responsible for overseeing workforce management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, employee development and termination processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with employment regulations.Financial Oversight
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control strategies with full P & L responsibility.Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.Approve capital expenditures and manage vendor relationships.Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations.Oversee quality assurance programs and corrective action processes.Promote a zero-defect culture and continuous quality improvement.Customer & Business Development
Maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to support quoting, project planning, and delivery.Identify new business opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or equivalent related experience.Minimum 7–10 years of experience in machining or precision manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.Proven experience in managing budgets, teams, and operational KPIs.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
