Caregiver (CNA / DSP)

If you're looking for a role where your work directly translates to improving someone's quality of life and are experienced in a healthcare setting, we encourage you to apply.What the Role Entails : Personal Support : Directly assisting residents with activities of daily living and self-care routines.Health & Behavioral Monitoring : Diligent observation and documentation of residents' health status, daily activities, tracking specific objectives, and noting behavioral progress.Structured Engagement : Contributing to and participating in activities, both within our facilities and in community settings.Environment Maintenance : Ensuring a healthy, clean, and comfortable living environment is maintained for all residents.Professional Development : Committing to ongoing professional growth.What We Require : Experience & CredentialsHealthcare Experience Preferred : Priority will be given to candidates with professional experience in the medical field or a healthcare setting. Relevant certifications such as Direct Support Professional (DSP), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Medical Assistant (MA) are highly desirable.Direct Experience : A minimum of one year of experience caregiving or working with adults with developmental / intellectual disabilities and / or mental health concerns.Core Qualities & SkillsCore Qualities : A compassionate demeanor, exceptional patience, and the ability to build professional rapport.Team-Oriented Mindset : Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a diverse team.Reliable Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Commitment to Standards : A professional attitude and appearance are consistently expected.Mandatory Requirements & Certifications : Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.Possession of (or immediate willingness to obtain) : DSP 1 & 2 Certification, Adult CPR / First Aid Certification, and CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification.Ability to successfully obtain a fingerprint clearance from Community Care Licensing.Current health screening and TB test (or ability to obtain promptly).Valid State ID.
