Job Title : Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer / SRE / Infrastructure Engineer

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with extensive experience in OpenShift , Java or Python API development , and VMware / virtualization technologies . This role is highly technical, with a primary focus on designing, building, and automating container platform environments for enterprise use. Candidates must have hands-on experience with OpenShift installation and administration , not just usage.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement OpenShift clusters and CI / CD pipelines for deployment automation.

Build and maintain APIs and automation tools using Java or Python .

Manage virtualization infrastructure, primarily with VMware , to support private cloud operations.

Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure high availability and scalability of the platform.

Troubleshoot and optimize system performance across compute, storage, and networking layers.

Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management best practices.

Nice to Have :

Experience with KVM , Hyper-V , or other hypervisors.

Exposure to Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies.

Familiarity with container-based networking, virtualization orchestration, and security.

Note :

This is a W2-only role – No C2C or third-party submissions will be considered.

Candidate must be local to or able to commute to Jersey City, NJ regularly.
