Security Officer - Flex Healthcare Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do :

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals at the healthcare location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, maintaining a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Assist with controlling access to designated areas and monitor entrances and exits as outlined in site-specific policies.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and respond promptly to calls for assistance or emergencies as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
