ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Santa Cruz, California.

Opportunity :

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details :

  • Shift may start anytime between 6 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM - must be flexible with start times
  • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Daily census of approximately 50 patients
  • Patient ratio of 5 during day shifts
  • Must have 2 years of experience required for submission
  • Travel experience required
  • Required certifications : ARRT T, BLS, State License (all certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of submittal)
  • MUST HAVE experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Competently perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician treatment plans
  • Work independently with sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Specialized skills required : Benign Brain Tumors, Elekta Infinity, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Vision RT
  • Additional skills : Respiratory Gating, Radiation Safety, Prophylactic Treatments
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
  • Valid state license required at time of submission
  • 50 mile travel requirement applies
  • Orientation includes non-billable modules (1-5 hours average) completed through e-learning

The department specializes in delivering precise radiation treatments for various cancer types and conditions, maintaining high standards for patient safety and care quality. The facility emphasizes the use of cutting-edge equipment and evidence-based treatment protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes in radiation therapy services.

    Location : Santa Cruz, CA
