Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Oconomowoc, WI on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide direct patient care to adults with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing patients in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Med Surg patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in compliance with facility standards.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to provide safe, patient-centered care.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
