Job descriptionDoctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required. One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred. Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate. Board certification in psychiatry Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.

Blue Ridge Recovery Center, an Acadia Healthcare facility is a 54 bed, residential alcohol and drug detox, and substance misuse treatment center, offering rehabilitation programs for alcohol, heroin, opiate, and prescription drug addiction. Blue Ridge is located on 50 acres in Ball Ground, Georgia, just an hour north of Atlanta.
