About The Position

Certifications : BLS, EPIC experience required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred

Telemetry experience

Ability to float as needed

Weekend availability required

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed.

Call-offs or additional RTO on unit may lead to cancellation.

Traveler experience is accepted, including first-time travelers.

Local candidates are welcome; there may be a rate difference.

Patient ratios are targeted at 1 : 6 or 7 during normal staffing, with a maximum of 1 : 7 during high census periods.

36 or 48 hours can be offered; if 48 are worked, no overtime will be billed until after 48 hours.

Floating is required as needed to similar units.

Every other weekend is mandatory.

Patients will be medical-surgical with no cardiac telemetry patients accepted.

The unit uses Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR systems.

Must possess a teamwork approach and meet behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff.

Compliance with call-off policies is strongly enforced.

Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Candidates may float within the hospital or affiliate facilities based on job description.

Clinicians cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or exceed 60 hours in a week.

All clinical roles will require modules to be completed pre-start and annually.

References from managers or supervisors within the last 12 months are preferred at the time of submission.

Candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions or special requests.
