The ideal candidate has a strong background in customer service, retail or dealership operations, and inventory management, with the proven ability to manage processes, drive sales, and coordinate effectively across departments.Key ResponsibilitiesParts Management & Inventory Control Oversee all daily parts operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and issuing parts. Coordinate closely with the Service Team to ensure parts availability supports timely repairs and efficient service turnaround, minimizing vehicle downtime. Maintain precise inventory records through systematic cycle counts, reconciliations, and process controls. Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and replenishment schedules to maintain optimal stock levels while controlling costs. Develop and maintain high-impact retail displays and merchandising for accessories and parts. Identify opportunities to introduce new product lines, kits, and seasonal offerings that enhance customer experience and profitability.Operational Leadership & Coordination Collaborate with the service team to prioritize the refurbishment of used fleet vehicles, ensuring a steady flow of high-demand carts to maximize inventory turnover. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and teamwork through personal example and effective communication. Establish and communicate clear daily and weekly priorities for parts and retail operations to align with overall company goals. Provide ongoing product and process training to colleagues (e.g., service and sales staff) to ensure high standards of customer engagement. Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and upholding high operational standards. Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address issues to ensure an excellent service experience. Collaborate with Service, Fleet, and Accounting departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.Sales & Customer Experience Drive revenue growth across retail, select commercial, and dealership channels through proactive outreach, relationship management, and sales execution. Proactively engage with customers (in-person, phone, and digital) to identify needs and recommend golf car, parts, and accessory solutions that align with their usage and budget. Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities by following up promptly on all leads from Hibu, Rollick, walk-ins, phone, website, and other digital media inquiries. Develop and strengthen relationships with select commercial accounts (e.g., schools, municipalities, and event venues) to expand parts and vehicle sales. Collaborate with OEM partners and internal leadership to identify new sales opportunities and promote manufacturer programs. Maintain expert-level product knowledge of new and used golf cars, refurbished builds, and accessory add-ons. Promote inventory through sales and industry events, Facebook Marketplace, in-store displays, and other marketing campaigns. Maintain accurate and current listings on the company website. Stage carts for display to maximize visibility and engagement.Showroom & Retail Presentation Ensure the showroom, parts areas, and all customer-facing spaces are clean, organized, and well-stocked. Maintain all showroom cartsincluding cleaning, charging (if electric / lithium), and price-tagging all display units. Rotate parts and accessories displays to feature seasonal or high-demand products.Administrative & Reporting Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, parts performance, and inventory metrics. Support the General Manager in annual budget and inventory planning processes. Ensure compliance with all company policies, including cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) accuracy.Skills and QualificationsRequired Qualifications 3+ years of experience in parts management, retail, or inside sales (automotive, power equipment, or dealership experience strongly preferred). Demonstrated experience in a role requiring significant cross-departmental collaboration and influence. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills with a high degree of attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. A customer-first mindset and a passion for solving problems.Preferred Qualifications Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), such as Flyntlok or similar. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and technical diagrams. Experience with e-commerce platforms or online marketplaces (e.g., Facebook Marketplace).Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods. Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs (e.g., parts, batteries, accessories).
