Job Title : Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, service, and repairs of a complex nature on assigned equipment or systems. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment, including welders, sewing machines, presses, and CNCs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and accurately follow detailed operational instructions and blueprints for jobs and setup operations while conducting maintenance activities.
• Administer the preventive maintenance system and provide required reports as specified in the CMMS.
• Determine preventative maintenance requirements for new equipment and train equipment operators to perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and effective work area / environment using appropriate personal protective and safety equipment.
• Support the Facilities Function as needed.
• Perform complex skilled work across multiple functions and operations of the preventive maintenance system.

Work Environment

This role operates on a first shift, Monday to Friday, from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm with optional overtime up to 10% per year based on production needs. The work environment is a manufacturing setting that can occasionally be loud, requiring safety glasses and steel toe shoes (provided on the first day). The assignment is a 90-working day temp-to-hire position, approximately 4-5 months, where attendance and tenure are highly valued.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00 / hr.
