Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,978 per week in Chicago, IL

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Medical Surgical License : IL License in hand upon submission Certifications : BLS required, NIHSS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have : Must live within 75 miles of the facility. Description : Position / Specialty : Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical. Shift : 3x12s, 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM. No block scheduling is available. Call requirements are not applicable. Every other weekend requirement with 2 weekends per month. Requests for time off : Maximum of 5 days with no more than 2 consecutive days. No time off during holidays, and no time off the day prior or after a holiday. Mandatory floating may occur to meet facility needs. All resources are required to float at the discretion of the facility. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week. Certifications required include BLS and NIHSS; ACLS is preferred. Local candidates are accepted, and preference is given to those who live within 75 miles. Pending licenses will not be accepted. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center. Scrub color for staff is navy blue; scrubs are not provided. Charting system in use is Cerner. Candidates must comply with vaccination proof requirements one week prior to the start date. The COVID-19 vaccine is required with no exemptions, while the flu vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions only. Candidate responsiveness is crucial, and all required items must be submitted promptly. Failure to follow compliance guidelines may result in assignment cancellation.
