Medical Education Coordinator
Coordinates educational and departmental activities for the residency / fellowship and medical student programs. Provides administrative support to program leadership and serves as liaison between faculty, residents, fellows, students, and institutional offices. Manages all aspects of graduate and undergraduate medical education (GME / UME).
Provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Program Director and residency program.
Coordinates meetings, agendas, minutes, reports, and data for the Residency / Fellowship Program Committees.
Manages recruitment processes : review applications, schedule interviews, communicate with applicants, and maintain ERAS.
Maintains program documentation : ACGME applications, accreditation surveys, GME Track, credentialing, and personnel records.
Supports onboarding and orientation for new residents, fellows, and medical students.
Coordinates in-training exams, faculty development, scholarly activity, and wellness initiatives.
Oversees budget planning, financial tracking, and justification for resident / fellow funding.
Develops and maintains program materials, including brochures, forms, and website content.
Plans and coordinates program events (e.g., welcome events, journal clubs, and graduation).
Supervises temporary administrative staff as needed.
Serves as liaison with internal departments, affiliated hospitals, and external agencies.
Ensures compliance with institutional and regulatory policies.
Handles general office functions, including calls, walk-ins, and ongoing projects (e.g., digitizing records).
Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in health care administration or related field desired. Equivalent appropriate prior work experience accepted.
Experience : Minimum two (2) years' experience in supervision and development of support personnel. Two (2) plus years in program administration and program implementation.
Licensure or Certification : None required.
