Salary : $50K to $60K range (based on experience)

Responsibilities :

• Supervises the activities in the kitchen to provide the highest quality of service and product to residents in a cost-effective manner
• Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel
• Follows policies and procedures for the Nutritional Services Department
• Accountable for the proper storage of all food and supplies used by the Nutritional Services Department and minimizing loss
• Ensures that the kitchen staff follows the required food handling and preparation policies, procedures, and regulations
• Schedules work hours and assignments also reviews and checks staff work performance
• Is responsible to see that each shift is properly staffed
• Is responsible for food purchase, production, and timely service of meals
• Evaluates and provides direction in food production, including standardizing recipes, portion control, problem-solving, and Quality Assessment and Assurance activities
