About The Position

Position Overview :

San Juan BOCES is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person speech and language services to a school-based caseload. This is a great opportunity for professionals passionate about supporting student communication needs in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct speech and language evaluations, write assessment reports, and develop treatment plans

Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs

Manage a full caseload of approximately 40–50 students

Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Maintain documentation and progress monitoring in accordance with district and state standards

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team efforts

Job Requirements

Qualifications :

Active Colorado State License – Required

CDE (Colorado Department of Education) Licensure – Required

Experience working in school settings preferred

Excellent communication and organizational skills
