Manager, Occupational Health
Salary range : $120,000 - $150,000.
Responsible for oversight of the occupational health functions, including pre-employment / placement assessments and annual health assessments at all hospital locations, including off-sites. Responsible for management of the workers’ compensation program, including reporting requirements and oversight of temporary alternate duty program. Influences policies that achieve health equity, promote wellness, and protect against inequity for people of marginalized and underrepresented communities.
Education / Training : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or health related field required. Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Knowledge of disease control, CDC guidelines, Joint Commission regulations, NYSDOH regulations and OSHA standards is required.
Experience : Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience, including working knowledge of workers’ compensation and / or risk management. Three (3) years in a supervisory or leadership capacity required. Demonstrates sound clinical skills, understanding of nursing standards of practice and positive communication skills.
Licensure, Registration or Certification : Current NYS licensure as a registered professional nurse; current BLS certification required.
