We are looking for a Trade Allocation Specialist to join our client's team in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves managing trade allocation processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitating corrections for institutional clients. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external counterparts to maintain accuracy and mitigate risks. This is a long-term contract to hire position.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily trade allocation process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with clients to address manual trade allocations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to manage and resolve trade corrections.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis to identify and rectify trade discrepancies.
• Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance standards related to trade allocation processes.
• Document and maintain procedures and workflows for trade allocation activities.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks using a solid understanding of financial markets.
• Provide support on team projects and assist with ad hoc tasks as required.
• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders to drive efficient trade processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2-5 years of experience in broker-dealer trade allocations or similar roles.
• FINRA Series 7 certification.
• Thorough knowledge of securities regulations, compliance, and industry standards.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to foster effective collaboration within teams and across departments.
• Experience with financial products such as asset-backed securities, fixed-income securities, or exchange-traded funds.
